Al Davis always send his paid-underlings to $%@#!& the media! The 2 recent examples: Caveman Ryan utters $%#@!*& defending Al's defensive strategy [no blitzes, etc]...Now Herrera pulling up his pants ready to do verbal and/or physical battle with a beat writer....The Raiders are doing exactly what is expected of them....no disappointment at their behavior at all! That's quite entertaining and I wish they will continue with more drama, comedy, tragedy and verbal $%#@!*&!!!

I don't think Herrera was "sent' there on a confrontational mission. I sense that everyone is under a ton of pressure and snapped.
Kawakami wasn't there to report, he was there to incite. Look at his story, below, and it's clear that he is 'grinding' on the Raider organization and he was making stories up about the press release.
